Savatech d.o.o. – Velo Programme, is not only a manufacturer of scooter, moped and motorcycle tyres, but also has in it's production programme some other interesting lines such as trailer tyres, tyres for wheelbarrows, agricultural tyres and tyres for farm and implement vehicles. Alongside these, Velo Programme is producing some niche products. One of these being TYRES FOR ULTRALIGHT AIRPLANES.
Homologated, these tyres with the dimension 4.00– 6 66L are produced in B11 tread pattern and are distributed to some well known ultralight airplane producers. Among these we are cooperating with slovenian company Pipistrel which is known worldwide as a producer of ultralight airplanes.
Pipistrel has won an important award at the NASA contest (NASA General Aviation Technology Challenge). This award has been won by Pipstrel two years in a row.
