In the VELO programme, we produce and market tyres for scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, mini motos, ATV and go-karts vehicles, as well as tyres for farming and industrial applications and corresponding tubes. Assisted by our widespread sales network, we have been cooperating with the renowned motor vehicle manufacturers such as Piaggio, Aprilia, Peugeot, Malaguti, Husqvarna, Rieju, Sherco, Tomos and others; we supply tyres for industrial applications too. Our long-standing cooperation with these prominent manufacturers proves that we are a reliable and trustworthy business partner. |

Owing to our constant improvements we have successfully penetrated the original equipment market and supply almost the entire Europe with our products and after-sales services. We are further expanding our business to the markets of North, Middle and South America, the near and Far East, certain African countries and Australia.

In 1992, Sava VELO was the first tyre manufacturer in Europe to obtain the ISO 9001 quality management certificate. In 2000, Sava VELO obtained the environmental management certificate ISO 14001. However, we will endeavour to continually upgrade the production programme.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
The environmental protection is the fundamental right and commitment of all employees at Sava. In the manufacture and development, we focus on decreasing the environmental load, in particular emissions of volatile organic substances and dust particles, waste deposit, consumption of water and noise levels.
- When introducing a new operation we first assess the impacts on the environment.
- We develop new products, which are safe and rational, either in production or use, and recyclable in an eco-friendly manner.
- To the extent possible, we discontinue the use of polluting substances and replace them with environmentally-friendly substances.
- We design and produce energy-friendly equipment and technology, which use less raw materials.
- We set high standards in selecting new equipment and technology as we consider the pollution value limits prescribed in Slovenia to be only our starting-point.
- We pursue impacts on the environment and take measures in case of irregularities.
- We educate and train our employees to correctly perform procedures and raise their environmental awareness;
- We establish an open and cultural interaction between all stakeholders, thereby making a contribution to a joint endeavour.
- We encourage suppliers and contractors to use safe environmental management systems and comply with the environmental protection legislation.
- We inform the public about our accomplishments in the environmental protection.
