HARDNESS SHORE A MEASUREMENTS ACCORDING TO DIN 53505

Hardness ShA measurements according to the standard DIN 53505 are performed by the table instrument from the producer Zwick. The required specimen thickness is at least 6 mm, while the allowed thickness may be composed from maximum three layers of the same material. The depressing time of the curtailed measuring cone is set automatically, usually to 3 s or 15 s. Hardness of finished products, e.g. window profiles, is measured by manual instruments.
