MATERIAL


Containment floating booms are made of two-layered rubber / polyester fabric. Each boom consists of the following parts: freeboard part is a tube filled with air or polyurethane foam; the draft part is the underwater part weighted down with a galvanized steel chain as ballast.

The Rigid containment floating booms have equally spaced vertical plastic tubes that contain sufficient amount of ballast to maintain upright position in the water.
