The reels are for rolling, storing, and transporting of containment floating booms. Their usage is simple and safe. Automatic braking system prevents excessive tractive forces. A special anticorrosion protection offers excellent resistance from seawater and air. Four lifting and four anchoring points for lifting and anchoring the reel to the shore, ship deck or container are installed on the frame of the reel. Protective covers are added to all reels.

The hydraulically powered boom reels are designed for stowing the booms and to facilitate deployment and retrieval. Automatic braking system ensures safe operation. The portable driving gear is a small diesel driven motor which propels the reels through a hydraulic converter. It is very suitable for usage in harbours because it can also be used to propel pumps, skimmers, and air compressors. The advantages of the driving gear are its small size, agility, robust structure of stainless steel, and oil reservoir.

The power unit has a small diesel engine that provides power to the reels through a hydraulic converter. It can also be used to power pumps, skimmers and air compressors. It is compact in size, yet powerful; all stainless steel frame construction.

Draging device is used for pulling containment booms. It is composed of an ASTM link, two strong bands joined by a ring and of 27 mm thick towing rope. The usage and setting up of the drag device is simple and safe.
