INCORPORATION INTO BROADER DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT

The Savatech R & D Institute’s personnel are aware of their broader social role and resposibility. While dealing with R & D projects, the Institute cooperates with R & D departments of other companies, institutions of knowledge and external experts in Slovenia and abroad.

The Institute’s researchers are qualified for graduation, MSc and PhD thesis mentorships or comentorships, in cooperation with the foregoing institutions. They participate in various ways of teaching: long life learning, undergraduate, graduate and functional.

R & D Institute takes part in the following industrial associations with the institutions of knowledge:

• Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre
• Tehnological platforms Manufuture.si, Advanced Materials and Technologies and Slovenian Chemistry, through which the collaboration takes place in the field of polymer technology within European Union
• Slovenian Plasttechnics Cluster links over 50 Slovenian small, middle and big companies in the field of polymeric material products
• As a founding member of Technological Networks for Intelligent Polymeric Materials and Appertaining Tehnologies, the Institute is linked with related foreign networks, e.g. WAK (Europen technological network in German-speaking countries for the field of polymer technologies) and Eurheo (Europen network of excellence, uniting research and educational institutions in the field of rheology)

Within its R & D activities the Institute cooperates with institutions of knowledge and research associations as well as industrijal partners.
