TECHNICAL RUBBER SHEETS


Sava produces a wide range of technical rubber sheets which are available in different types, dimension and hardness.

  • both sides smooth
  • one or both sides with textile pattern (fabric impression or fine grip)
  • without plies - width from 1000 mm to 1600 mm
  • with plies - width 1300 mm (cotton ply) or to 1600 mm (EP ply)
  • thickness of rubber sheets from 0,5 mm to 40 mm
  • abrasion resistant rubber sheets are available with or without CR layer
 


Application:

  • conveyor belts cleaners
  • drum lagging
  • mechanical protection from impacts
  • protection from heat, vibrations, noise and humidity
  • electric insulation and antistatic protection

TYPE OF RUBBER SHEETS

TYPE ELASTOMER PROPERTIES PRODUCT - APPLICATION
A NR - natural rubber • good elasticity and flexibiliy
• high physical and mechanical values
• resistant to diluted acids and bases
• weaker temperature resistance
• not resistant to gasoline and oils P40		 P40 orange red: food quality (FDA), B.f.R.,XXI, kat. II,/ 1.4.2006
A35 black: antidust quality
A40 red or grey: non staining, washers
A65 black: non staining, abrasion-resistant
(max 120 mm3 ), smooth or fabric impression pattern
B SBR - styrene butadiene rubber • quite good temperature resistance
• good mechanical values
• resistant to diluted acids and bases
• not resistant to gasoline and oils		 B60-Y-W-WL black: abrasion-resistant rubber
B67 black: antistatic quality (max. 5000 Ω)
B70 grey: electric-insulation, 35kV and 50 kV
C NBR - acrylonitrile rubber • good mechanical characteristics
• resistant to vegetable and mineral oils
• resistant to gasoline with not more than 30% of aromats
• low elasticity
• weaker ozone existence		 C55 black: medium oil and grease resistant quality
C60 blue: medium oil and grease resistant + food quality (FDA)
C70 black: oil and grease resistant quality
Cl IIR IIR - butyl, CI IIR - cyclobutyl rubber • good temperature resistance
• good ozone existence
• resistant to polar solution
• resistant to acids and bases
• not resistant to gasoline and oils		 Cl IIR45 black: resistant to acid and heat
D or CR CR - chloroprene rubber • high physical and mechanical values
• good ozone existence
• resistant to aliphat oils
• not resistant to gasoline		 CR layer for very good adhesion properties (drum lagging or other technical rubber sheets)
E EPDM - ethylene
propylene rubber		 • good temperature resistance
• good ozone existence
• resistant to polar solution		 E60 black: ozone and heat resistant with or whithout EP ply
